Little Briar Cottage Lochearnhead, Perthshire FK19 8PU

Little Briar Cottage is in a truly wonderful setting, enjoying views over Loch Earn to Ben Vorlich. We have two acres of grounds on the banks of the Loch (originally owned by MacGregors, then the Duke of Breadalbane , and latterly by McLarens.

Our lovely two bedroom stone cottage faces south with stunning views over Loch Earn and Ben Vorlich from its elevated position. It is surrounded by wooden decking in lovely landscaped gardens, with comfortable outdoor furniture and barbeque facilities. There is  parking for 2 cars by the property. Guests can also request to fish (March 15th to October 6th), picnic or barbeque from our 250ft private garden area on the loch shore ( we have a jetty, slipway and 3 mooring buoys).

We are on hand close by if you need anything during your stay. We offer wireless broadband internet network free of charge (bring your own laptop and just request the password on arrival).
Prices for 2010 start from £350 per week for the cottage (sleeps max’ 4), one double, one twin room, Please inform us at time of booking if you wish to bring a pet

The cottage is on the edge of Lochearnhead village in the National Park. Well placed for visits out to Balquhidder, Callander, Strathyre, Stirling, Glasgow, Comrie, Crieff, Gleneagles, Perth, Killin, Oban and Crianlarich.  We can offer fishing, water sports, cycling, walking, golfing, riding, climbing enthusiasts and plenty for those interested in history.

Cycle routes nearby, it is only 6 miles to a golf course ( 8 courses within 30mins drive), incredible wildlife on your doorstep including deer and ospreys (we are also close to the Blair Drummond Safari and Adventure park). Water sports centre and cafe under a quarter of a mile from the cottage, horse riding close by. Guests may fish from the cottage garden and jetty without a permit.  2 parking spaces adjacent to cottage.

There are some great places to eat nearby, from pubs to fine dining (nearest hotels being 150 metres and 200 metres from the cottage).
